Hi, i'm Jean-Claude 'Murdock' Nouchy, a 30 year old 3D artist, animator and currently living in Milano, Italy. Actually 'Murdock' is my friendly nickname since long time ago, when I was always talking with the CB radio. I work in the Computer Graphics industry since 1995, starting with pre-press Graphics and going to the Magic world of animation, game development and post production. I've spent my last 6 years by experimenting and studying every kind of softwares from 3D to compositing and editing, not only because is my actual job, but mainly because it's my passion since i was really young.

I had my first computer when i was 7 year old, a great Commodore Vic-20. I spent lot of time on it, programming Basic and.. playing :]. After few years the Amiga 500 was on my desk and then my first PeeCee, a 8088. My passion then moved on Unix machines and especially on Silicon Graphics computers. I actually proudly own a little collection of SGI computers.
Video Editing and Photography his also a big passion I have since long time, and especailly since i finally buyed my Canon XL1s DV camcorder and a Canon Eos 20D digital reflex camera.

Even if I love computers and CG in general since much more time, I can say that I'm into the CG since 1998, when I moved to Milano to get my first Softimage|3D certification. After that I started by teaching 3D Animation and post production for over a year. One of the side I love really much about computer is also Systems and Networks Administration, so i experienced this passion as a job, and it was fun since I always was in the post production environment. I changed job or company almost every year during my first experience on the field. I love to learn and grow my experience of any kind. One of my preferred Job position was at PhoenixTools. The company was great, the people fantastic, I had great time with 'em. After that i moved directly into Avid/Softimage where i was a demo artist and Tech support. Now i'm Technical director at Playstos, a Gaming development company. my projects are to get back into post production and I hope I'll get lucky enought to work with a Silicon Graphics computer :]

Computers, Movies, Photography, Music, Extreme sports, WildLife, possibly with my Bike :], world trips.. (when job let me do that :p).
